Peter John was the son of Johannas Vanden Bosch (1842-1905)
Johannas was the son of Tamme Molles Van Den Bosch (1798-1875)
In 1848, Tamme VandenBosch, a farmer from the small village of Witten near Assen in the province of Drenthe, along with his wife, Grietje Koenen Bont, traveled to Amsterdam where they boarded a ship headed for New York, arriving in May of that year.

So far, the book has over 483 pages, contains a 263 page genealogy report on Tamme Melles Vanden Bosch (the immigrant) and his wife Gretie Bont. There are over 50 pages of pictures of some of our oldest ancestors along with bios, obituaries, life stories and articles from the Holland Evening Sentinel in Holland Michigan.
